 Step inside our 1825 Erie Canal stone building and wander through a place where history lingers and stories still whisper. Once home to Irish canal workers who lived along the banks in shanty towns, Windsor Village carries the echoes of hard work, craft, music, and myth.

Local fables tell that when the canal boats moved on, some were left behind—
fairies, gnomes, and the occasional leprechaun—who quietly made this village their own. If you look closely, you may still catch signs of their presence in this whimsical place called Windsor Village.
